What you’ll experience with us
Training at The Culinary Collective is loads of fun. You’ll be immersed in New Zealand’s exciting food and beverage culture, get to eat all kinds of things and hear the stories behind some of the most important ingredients. On many courses, you'll get to see where they’re grown, produced or sourced from too.
You'll train in our commercial kitchens and bakeries with lots of support and encouragement from our industry-experienced tutors. Plus, as part of our courses, you’ll have the opportunity to be placed with a range of cooking and baking businesses to build up valuable work experience and get a taste for what the industry is like.

Training for today's world
You'll be taught by passionate tutors up to speed with the latest trends and get to visit farms, vineyards and breweries as part of most courses. To help you build experience in cooking or baking quickly, most of our courses allow you to work while you're training and all our courses include an internship that will help you build the confidence to get work in the cooking and hospitality industry. If you dream of running your own business, we teach entrepreneurial and management skills on certain courses too.

Our vibrant, diverse campuses are located in the heart of Auckland City, Sylvia Park, and in Hamilton. When you study with us, you’ll be cooking or baking in the kitchen and not from a textbook. All our campuses are kitted out to give you the best possible learning experience, including full working cafés, commercial training kitchens, production kitchens and bakeries that you'll train in as part of your course.
