Our Level 4 baking course will introduce you to the basic principles of bakery science, where you’ll learn how to create dough and get hands on baking delicious specialty breads, biscuits,  cakes and pastries.  You’ll also get qualified in food safety and learn how to work safely when preparing baked goods and operating baking equipment.

Take your passion further, with our Level 5 Diploma where you will improve your baking skills and develop advanced patisserie techniques. Build your attention to detail as you learn how to create laminated pastries, mouth-watering gateaux and torte cakes, yeast goods and other delicious desserts. You’ll learn how to manage a bakery and the operational side of running a business to meet production targets, and the last 5-weeks will have you working in a commercial kitchen or bakery as part of an internship.

At Level 6, you will go beyond just baking bread and learn all the core management skills to manage your own bakery or food business.

With all of our baking and patisserie courses, you’ll also have an opportunity to secure an internship to boost your on the job confidence and gain invaluable work experience to take your baking career further.
