With our cooking/chef courses. you'll learn the latest techniques, how to prepare and cook delicious food to share with your whānau and gain confidence working in a commercial kitchen environment.
Our Level 4 Certificate in Cookery is the pathway to becoming a chef! You'll learn the basics of cold-larder work and gain an overview of the chef hierarchy in the kitchen. You'll also get to create complex sauces, seafood and vegetable rice dishes, as well as sweet treats like pastries and desserts.
Build your culinary skills further, with our Level 5 Diploma. You’ll learn a range of advanced techniques, develop your creative cooking, learn about international cuisines, how to create original menus and how to run a commercial kitchen. The last 5-weeks will have you working in a commercial kitchen or food business as part of an internship.
With all of our culinary courses, you’ll also have an opportunity to secure an internship to boost your on the job confidence and gain invaluable work experience to take your culinary career further.
