The Culinary Collective is a new and distinctive cooking and hospitality school built around our globally recognised food culture, and the new ways people like to eat, drink and be entertained. NSIA and NZMA, the two largest and most successful cooking and hospitality schools in New Zealand have joined forces and leveraged 30 years of industry experience to launch The Culinary Collective.

Begin with a foundation course in Cooking or Bakery and work your way up to Level 5 to advance your techniques. Then take your passion further with a Level 6 Diploma, and learn the process of taking your food dream from concept to reality, learning a ton of core management skills along the way.
If you love to cook, take the first step with our Level 4 cooking course. You’ll learn about a wide range of culinary techniques and disciplines, and gain confidence and experience working in a commercial kitchen environment.
Get the foundation skills to become a baker or to train further as a patisserie chef. This baking course teaches you the full array of baking techniques and gives you real world experience through a five week internship in a commercial kitchen. This will give you a great head start when you're starting your baking career.
Take your passion to the next level, building on the knowledge and techniques developed in the Certificate in Cookery (Level 4) and gain the expertise required for progression as a chef in the food industry.
This course expands on our Level 4 bakery course and will give you an awesome range of skills in advanced patisserie techniques, including how to make artisan breads, pastries, tarts, gateaux and more.
This exciting course is about putting your business hat on and learning how to develop new food products or services for today’s market. Build on your Level 5 cooking or baking knowledge and learn the process of taking your food dream from concept to reality, along with a range of core management skills.
